This is the long-format board, built to be seen. Solid hardwood, laser engraved with your family name and the year it all started, with a hand-drawn tree along the bottom. Longer and leaner than a standard board, so it reads as much like wall art as it does a game.
It doesn't get put in a drawer. There's a keyhole slot cut into the back, so between games it hangs on the wall like a piece of art. Your name, your year, your tree, on display all year long. The back also has a magnetic strip that holds the metal pegs right on the board, so they never end up lost in a junk drawer.
Choose your wood, and it changes the whole character of the board. Cherry warms and deepens as it ages, so the board you hand down looks richer than the one you bought. Black Walnut runs dark and dramatic, with the engraving cut clean across the grain.
